Not worth buying  Time owned: more than 12 months
Poorly packaged-arrived in a plain envelope, curmpled and scratched. Very slow to load and run. Used nearly 300 mb of disk space. Extremely basic program; crashed easily, useless export, screen format is busy, much of the data is generic and wrong. It does have the ability to be updated but for the price and what is does not do, there are much better alternatives. Have sent 5 emails with ZERO replies.

Good Product!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Ham Lookup is up to V2.01 which fixed some previous problems. This software is available for Windows and Linux, a practice I hope will be adopted by by other Ham software companies.

This software loads the databases into RAM memory, and with adequate memory and a reasonably fast processor, accessing records is astonishingly fast. It also seems to get the county associations correct, a problem I have encountered with some other software.

Keep It Simple Stupid... not loaded down with image files, shareware, or other useless junk, but it has an upgradable, searchable, database. Search by call (duh!), search by name, or break it down to search by first, middle or last names - neato! Ever wonder how many hams are named "Arturo" or "Comer"?

No need to buy a new CD every quarter, just download the latest FCC and IC data files.
