Excellent mic

Time owned: 3 to 6 months

This is indeed an outstanding mic and it comes in a beautiful black finish with a shock mount.
Sound is articulate and sparkle at the top end. If you "close talk" the lows come through even nicer. As with most large diaphram condenser mic, it does pick up some background noises, so using gates will help greatly.

Superb!!

This is a exceptionally well engineered product used by many commercial broadcast stations in the UK.Beautifully engineered, transformerless circuitry means very low noise. I constantly receive unsolicited compliments on my audio such as "You sound like an FM station" or "You sound like a broadcast station" - exagerations for sure but nice comments all the same! The shock mount and wind muff are expensive extras but worth every cent. Buy one-you will not regret it.I previuosly used a Behringer B1 and was very pleased with it but the tonality of this mic beats it hands down. Its an old saying but you really do get what you pay for.
