A "Must Have"  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Looking for the deal of the new century? Look no further. If you are at all interested in QRP and homebrew projects, a subscription to "Homebrewer" is a must have. It is a CD based quarterly magazine that lately has had over 400 pages. It is all on pdf for easy scrolling and printing and includes lots of high resolution color photos. Definitely worth $15 a year just for the articles, but there are also distribution of software files and audio and video clips and presentations on the CD.

Perhaps the best bargin of all is the CD you can now buy that contains the complete issues #1 to #5 (current issue is #6). This 5 issue CD is only $10!

Outstanding  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
Very well prepared magazine on CD-ROM format. This format allows the magazine to present material beyond the type that print media can. Volume #6 contained over thirty-two unique homebrew construction projects with over 400 full-color, high resolution pages!

In addition, three special features were included:
1) A 45 minute video by N2CX and N2APB providing an overview of the technical aspects of the Micro908 Design.
2) An hour long audio interview with Tony Parks and Bill Tracey, the designers of the SoftRock-40.
3) Chuck Adams, K7QO, comprehensive Morse COde Training Course was also included.

Anyone interested in QRP, construction projects or the technical aspects of radio will benefit from this publication. Great content at oustanding value!!
