Must have item for HF shack  Time owned: more than 12 months
Bought mine for $12 off eBay. Put a 9V battery in it when I got it in 2006. Been using it ever since. If you use a manual tuner, get one. You will like it, and so with those already on a busy frequency, because you will stop being a heterodyne generator when tuning up! You can see my setup at

nice addition  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I put this unit in series between my TS-570DG and Palstar AT1KM tuner to replace my Palomar Tuner/tuner. It works as advertised and is superior to the Palomar. It produces great white-noise and does not wobble from the coax like the Palomar. Plus...NO HIDDEN FUSE TO REPLACE!!
