Description: The SA1 series of sidearms are simple mounts for small to medium antennas. Popular VHF/UHF antennas such as Comet, Diamond, Cushcraft and others fit nicely onto the vertical tube using the hardware supplied with the antenna.

Just what I was looking for !

I recently installed three SA1-24 24" sidearms, supporting Diamond X-200 style UHF/VHF antennas. The quality of the sidearms is above average, and and the price is very reasonable. Installation is simple and the supplied hardware is of high quality.

Good product, good price

I have had three SA-1’s on the top of my 35’ tower with a GP-15 (voice) GP-3 (digi) and a Diamond D-130J discone (scanner & test) since last August. They came with the stainless locking hardware and are very light yet strong. I feel they would hold most if not all of the amateur verticals (Diamond, Comet etc.) available and the antenna would fail before the side arm. I would not put anything bigger or heavier than those that they claim it will handle. It is aluminum and designed for medium duty and I feel they do that well. The welding was superb but the machining and part alignment could have been a bit better. On a tower no one is going to see it and it didn’t affect the installation or the integrity of the product.
