Noisey Fan
|
Time owned: 0 to 3 months

I have just bought this PSU second hand. I think its very well made and built to last.
Im not too sure if it is a fault but the fan stays on all the time and its very noisey. Im going to change this ASAP.
If anyone has a fan mod that they know of then please contact me.
Im still going to give this PSU 5/5 because it is very good.

Maybe not something you will easy find in ham gear shops, but good to know, especially in areas where there is nothing else...
Professional stuffs for marine,... fed by 220V AC
Gives its easy 13.8V DC 40 amps continuous with peaks over 50A. I use 2 in parallel for my SG-500W linear. Many experts recommend NOT to use 2 regulated PS in parallel. I do NOT against their idea... But the shop garanteed me I could, so I did under their garantee (6 months). I paid $260 each in XV-land. And it delivers an easy 80 amps.
Good points: the fan is only when the temperature is too high.
over load led
No meter illumination;
19 Kg each...
