Great Transverter

A very well built rig. All modules are in shielded boxes. Well engineered and made. NF is right at 1db. Output is strong. It uses a ducted fan internally, so there are no fins in back. Hookup and operation is easy, with few outside wires. Drift at a constant external temp. was less than 100hz after 5 minutes. No corners cut in any respect. Just don't turn on the preamp switch without a preamp on the line. You will have to change a fuse. I use it with a TM 255a 2Meter rig and it couldn't be smoother.
A phase locked LO would make it nicer, but I have not found I needed it.
