I have been a Ham since 1968 and during this time I have seen a lot of tuners come and go. I finally decided to treat myself and ordered a Palstar AT1500DT.Best purchase I have made in a while.The shipping was first rate and my Tuner arrived in excellent condition. Inspection showed a first rate product and hooking it up it tuned my slinky dipole flat on all bands. The peak meter reads bang on. This tuner will stay with me till I have to go to Ham Heaven

Fantastic Tuner

I have owned this tuner for seven months now and i
am very very pleased.Tunes my wire antenna and my
beam no problem at all.Silky smooth operation tuning
is easy,i owned an old FC102 that was built like a tank and i wanted something that would be of equal
quality.And the palstar At1500DT CERTAINLY DOSE build quality is exceptional.I will be keeping this
one i purchased a can of isopropyl Alcohol to keep
the roller inductor clean every six months.I want
this hight quality product to last.Keep up the good
work Palstar you have my vote of confidence.JOHN G0TIY

Great Tuner

Believe the hype! This is a great tuner that can tune just about anything. It is built solid and the peak hold/avg. is a great feature to have in a tuner. It's a antenna switch, meter, and a tuner all-in-one. It was worth the money.

Got my first AT1500DT a week ago it did not work at all !!! Called the factory and they emediately sent me another complete unit and payed the shipping back for the deffective one.Got the new tuner today and ran it thru it;s paces and it worked 100% Wow what a nice tuner and good customer support.I have an old MFJ 986 that I bought eleven years ago which has allways worked just fine,but deceided it was time to get a real Cadillac of tuners and bought the Pal Star. It is really built like a Tank especially like the peak hold feature and powder coated cabinet would be hard to scratch that. Try one you will be HAPPY

Just received the AT1500DT, top quality - top shelf!, way to go guys - professional equipment for the serious hobbiest!..I had my HF9V and 160m doublet settings logged within 15 min for reference.. keep up the great work Palstar! - Dave, AA3EJ

I am very pleased with this tuner. It has tuned what I have needed tuned with no issues. The inductor turns very smooth. The peak reading meter is very nice.

A GREAT TUNER

I had a palstar, and sold it for an LDG auto tuner. It would not tune all my antennas. So it was back to Palstar. This new model interested me. The peak hold and metering is a Palstar wonder. The tuner is smooth as silk. Settings are always repeatable. To me, its the mercedes of tuners after owning a vectronics, and MFJ. Simply put, if you are thinking tuner, THINK PALSTAR. You cant go wrong. This tuner is versital, and tunes my vertical easily, as well as my wire antenna, even on 160. You will be a happy customer, like me.

The first time I saw Plastar tuners was at Dayton this year. I was very impressed with the looks and quality of every tuner. I have tried remote electronic antenna tuners (or couplers) and they required a seperate control or power cable to the antenna. I tried a electronic tuner and had problems. Having been through all this I dicided to go back to the good old manual style of tuner for several reasons. Not being electronic with many very small parts, coils, and relays the manual is very simple and very relaiable even at high power. I also believe by going manual efficiency is better because of the many small contacts in the electronic auto tuner relay systems. I dicided on the manual AT1500DT because if I write the settings down and with only two Knobs to control I can tune very fast.
As far as service and quality of product I cannot think of any one better than Palstar. They were very fast at delivery and when I opened the box and took the cover off the tuner to check it out it brought tears to my eyes because I was so happy with the quality both inside and out. It looks so good it is in my living room by the window hooked up to an all band doublet and tunes up every band. (10 to160)
Being so impressed with Palstar I have ordered the DL1500 Dummy Load which also has what I call the "Palstar quality". Today I ordered the Palstar SP30 speaker and am going to get the Palstar Antenna analizer. I say this not to brag but to show I trully believe in their quality. With Palstar you can't go wrong and if there is a problem they will make it right. Great service. There is so much junk out there its good to know someone still believes in "QUALITY".
