- Constant current regulator. 350mA current limit. Current limit set by a single resistor (max 500mA).
- Can drive either a single 1W Luxeon or two series connected 1W Luxeons (from minimum of 8V input).
- Operates from 4V to 30V. Draws about 120mA from 12.8V to drive a single 1W Luxeon, draws about 200mA from 12.8V to drive two series connected 1W Luxeons.
- Maximum output voltage 16V.
- Protected against reverse polarity connection and output short circuit.
- Regulator requires about 1V over the total LED Vf to maintain regulation, current drops when out of regulation.
- Board is 1" x 0.8"

Great product and service  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I used this regulator to build a 12 volt battery powered LED light using 2 1W Luxeon LEDs. I had build a prototype using a linear LM317 current regulator, but did not like the waste of energy as heat. The CC1W Constant Current Regulator Driver for 1W Luxeon LED is a VERY efficient and small switcher and comes fully assembled (just as well, as contains mostly surface mount components).

It hardly gets warm in operation and regulates perfectly from 9 to 14 volts in my configuguration. The current actually goes DOWN as the voltage goes up. I plan to publish photos and details on my website.

This is a perfect solution for building emergency or field operation LED lights of all types.
