Sweet program  Time owned: unknown months
I've been using this program for about a month now, and I can honestly say it's the best! It takes a little time to make the label look exactly like you want, but after that it's a breeze. Best qsl label program. Including what most logging programs include. Great for mass bureau shipments too!

QSL Management and Label Printig Software  Time owned: unknown months
BV is a Amateur Radio Software Program for QSL Management and QSL Label Printing running under Windows 95/98/NT - developed by Bernd Koch, DF3CB.
It is mainly designed for the Contester or DXpeditioner with high QSL quantities but also useful for all other QSL'ing purposes. BV imports different logbook formats
(like ADIF, CT, NA, N6TR, WF1B, Swisslog) and creates own databases. Very flexible logsearch mechanisms make it very easy to find particular QSOs and print them. Multiple QSOs with the same station are printed on the same label - sorted in any desired combination. The customizable Label Layout Design is done visually with Windows-like graphic tools and "click & drop" features.

BV for Windows (BV6) is still free of charge! It replaces the former DOS Version 4 and the BV6 Beta-Version which was available here since March 1998. BV6 is available via the Internet only. No mail delivery, no exceptions!

The program consists of three major parts (windows):

the main Logsearch Window

the Label Designer Window and

the Tools Window - a log conversion and maintenance utility.

See the next chapter how to install BV and then follow the guidelines in the chapter First Steps.

Features:

Multiple QSO's for the same callsign on one common label.
Label printing on any sizes and formats or printing on QSLs without labels.
Very flexible Visual Label Designer. No more try and error.
Layout can be completely customized incl. Colored Printing, Graphics etc.
Prints on any printer that is supported by Windows.
Multiple Log Application - very useful for Multi-Call Dxpeditions.
Very comfortable and fast logsearch capabilities.

The logs can be displayed sorted by calls and chronologically (sorted by date and time).
Many, many sort and select criteria for printing QSO's, e.g. ignoring duplicate contacts.
Print only particular selected records.
Great Import, Export and Log Merge Capabilities, Footer Lines, Statistics
Correcting wrong log data.
Answering SWL cards.
QSL Manager support.
Print Reports with 6 digits (like 599+20).

BV can handle 15 different bands (160m through 10m including the WARC bands plus 6m, 2m, 70cm,

23cm 12cm and Satellite QSO's) and knows 16 different modes (including EME, RTTY, Amtor,

Pactor, Packet, PSK31, Clover, Meteor Scatter, AM, FM).

History

The history of BV began as a DOS program in 1989 when the Bavarian Contest Club had a major Contest DXpedition to Luxembourg as LX7A. As the QSL manager, I had to confirm some 30,000 QSO's then. The intension was to print as many different band QSO's as possible onto one single label - sorted by bands - and to ignore duplicate contacts.

Since then BV has gained many thousand users. The amount of labels printed with BV is not countable any more. Some of the calls will sound familiar to you:

The Windows version solves the printer problems which was always a major drawback of the DOS version. It now supports all printers which are supported by Windows. The label layout design is done visually with Windows-like graphic tools and "click & drop" features. This includes also colored printing, usage of all True Type typefaces and embedded graphics.
