Very reliable  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have one of these on a vehicle that isn't used much, and the charger works pretty well all Winter. I'm not on HF, but haven't experienced any RFI on VHF frequencies.

It seems to be encased in epoxy to make it very water proof.

RFI problem  Time owned: more than 12 months
I just got off the phone with the Deltran engineer who designed this unit. He says that this particular model uses a switch mode power supply at a fairly high frequency, unlike the other products in the line like the Battery Tender Jr. which operate at 60 Hz. If you need to use a radio nearby, stay away from this unit.

Terrible RFI  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I had high hopes for this charger, given its compactness and resistance to water. However, I soon discovered that it puts out terrible RFI from MF to (at least) VHF. I installed chokes on the AC and DC lines, but with little effect.

I also came home one day to find that it was overcharging my wet lead acid trolling motor battery, with lots of gas discharge and some loss of electrolyte.

Just pray that your neighbors don't use this one, either.
