Good Product

Phillystran is indeed a good product, And really not any more expensive than using egg insulators to break up guy wires into non resonant lengths.
Do follow the instructions to NOT use Phillystran near the ground. Use EHS guy wire for the lower part of all guys.
I have had some up for over 20 years now, Really no stretching like there would be with some other non conducting materials like rope, etc.

No more steel for me!

After re-setting my modest 40' Rohn G25 I decided to try Phillystran on the guys. All I can say is this stuff is great and not really any more expensive than steel. The Guy-Grips are a great addition. They were a little tricky to get started at first but after a couple, it became very easy. So much better than the traditional clamps. A second benifit is being non-metalic there is no concern about breaking up the guy lengths to avoid resonence. I highly recommend Phillistran (available from Texas Towers) to anyone needing to guy a tower or mast.
