Ok balcony antenna for the price.  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have this antenna mounted on my balcony. It covers the 4 repeaters I can reach within about 15 kilometers. Beyond that it gets too mountaineous to get proper reach, but thats what you get for living in a first floor apartment in a block of flats, and in a valley no less.
I brought the antenna with me to the top floor and tested it with my VX-7R too on the outside balcony, and opened a repeater 65 kilometers away, so that's not too bad.
I'd recommend this antenna if you live in an apartment and have limited height to play with. It's mounted on a 1/2 meter wooden outrigging out from the outside fence on my balcony, and has served me well.
