A pair of QTR-24's restored.

I received a pair of Yaesu QTR-24's a while back that needed some TLC. One had a broken 24 hour ring and the other was running very slow and needed cleaning. I contacted Carol W4CLM and sent them off. Within a short time she had them repaired and shipped back to me. EXCELLENT job! They worked perfectly and looked like new. If you have a QTR that is in need of repair, don't mess with it, send it to Carol!

I would like to say that it is a real pleasure to have dealt with Certified. Only wish I had known about them earlier!! My radio( FR-101D) was fixed to like a brand new receiver. I was contacted when radio was delivered-notified what the problem was and the rest is history. The whole scenerio was handled in a very profesional mannerism. Turn around time was very quick. The repairs were excellent and tediously done-no quick fixes!! I highly recommend if you have any Yaesu repair work needed-CALL Certified-you WILL be very happy with the finished product!!Thank you Carol for your work!! 73 Terry N4SuB

Friendly Service

I got lucky on the purchase of a FT 101E off Ebay, except for low output. Carol offered to sell me the CW filter and the unit came with a SSB filter. I lucked out and found 2 NOS Toshiba green label 6JS6C sweep tubes. Sent the rig to Carol to install the CW filter and to make sure the new Toshibas were neutralized. He offered to replace the access cover which had been repainted and the paint job did not match the original Yaesu color scheme. Very reasonable service charge.
I expect years of good service from this old boatanchor. Hot receive with the filters!
This is the place to go for servicing the FT 101 line of transceivers.

Ft 101 E

Had a problem with my 101 E that I recently purchased . So I sent it to Carol at Fox Tango and when she received it, it was damaged in shipping . Well Carol fixed the damage and fixed the radio . It works like it should and I am just going to have to keep this one . Carol again a big THANK YOU . You are one of the best for sure .

You will be treated most respectfully and your equipment is given lots of TLC. Fox Tango is very resourceful and has the contacts to obtain the parts to meet-and-exceed expectations, and do so expediently and affordably.

QTR-24 Clock repair

Clock was losing time badly and it fact, had finally stopped. Carol fixed what was needed, cleaned up the 30+year old case and face to better than factory specs and got the old ticker to beating right on time. Clock was well packed and shipment was prompt and on time. She kept me informed all thru the repair process. First rate repair job, I highly recommend Carol's service.

GREAT JOB- FT-990 REPAIR

Carol did a great job repairing my FT-990.She communicated with me all through the process to update her progress. The rig came back better than when I bought it used in 2003. The audio section had failed and it had an intermittent fan. I would trust her with any of my equipment and plan to allow her to repair another piece of "vintage" Yaesu gear in the future. Repair rates were also very reasonable-a very well run business.

Carol did a great job aligning my FT-102 she replaced all the relays ,and serviced it from front to rear . I am one happy camper . Very highly recommended .

FR101 & FL101

I sent my FR101 FL101 to W4CLM in 3weeks had it back and running like it should, Thanks for a great job on repairs and very fast service, not to mention a fair repair bill that beats all the other competition.

QTR-24 repair

Carol did a super job of repairing my QTR-24..in fact it is like a new one. Super individual to work with, very friendly and very professional and a real credit to the hobby.
