Description: All of the OMISS awards are available to OMISS member stations only. See for information on membership (it is easy to become a member).

All contacts for the OMISS awards must be made on net frequencies and during net times to be valid for the awards.

OMISS WAS Awards include the following:

WAS basic: work all 50 states of the United States on mixed bands of the OMISS net.

WAS Single band: work all 50 states on one band.

1X2 WAS: work all 50 states with stations with 1X2 call signs.

1X3 WAS: work all states with 1X3 call signs.

2X1 WAS: work all states with 2X1 call signs.

2X2 WAS: work all states with 2X2 call signs.

2X3 WAS: work all states with 2X3 call signs.

QRP WAS: work all states using 10 watts or less.

WAS Base/Mobile: work all states from a base station contacting mobile stations only.

WAS Mobile: from a mobile station, contact all 50 states; the contacted stations may be base, mobile and/or portable.

5, 6, and 7 Band WAS: work stations in all states on 5, 6 or 7 bands.

Per OMISS policy, eQSLs are not accepted for any of their awards.

great worked all states awards!  Time owned: months

I have the OMISS basic (mixed bands) worked all states award (certificate number 296) and the OMISS single band award (fourty meter)(certificate number 311).

These are attractive awards and are awards that any ham would be proud to display.
