Description: Great new Car Battery Monitor, provides early warning of battery problems. Ideal to prevent flat batteries and other embarrassing incidents. Unit gives visual indication of current battery voltage and provides audible chirp warning as the voltage falls below 12V. Chirping increases in frequency as the voltage falls further. Kit comes complete with all components and programmed PIC IC. Detailed instruction are also included.

Superb & simple

Time owned: more than 12 months
|
We have all seen this type of kit before - But this is very smart, low cost and works superbly.
It uses a PIC programmable IC to do all the smart bits. In a nutshell, it gives the usual visual indication of voltage, plus an audible and flashing indication if the battery/psu goes either too high or too low. The kit is cheap about USD$9.00, easy to put together. The current circuit board has silk-screened voltages marked on it for 11 to 14 volts.
