POS CB'er junk.

I got one a few years ago to see if it was like the legendary D 104. Boy, oh boy, was I all wet! Very low audio and the quality of the mike was well below the Astatics. One day i went to use it and the mic was dead. The cartridge was dead. 100.00 got flushed down the stool....

i tried a workman superstar mini base microphone, it worked pretty well....for about a week, then fried itself for no apparent reason. as for the D140 copies, ive only heard bad things from friends who tried them.

Not a good product

I don’t often trash a product but this has me frosted. I purchased this microphone, a D-104 knock off from Copper Electronics. Bottom line, it was a piece of junk! Period! Copper Electronics refused to take it back, no info was available for Workman Electronics at the time. I sucked up the $100 cost and tossed it in the trash.
