Two Down...One To Go!

Time owned: more than 12 months

I bought my DJ-480 on EBAY last month for $40. No battery, but I have extras. I just managed to squeeze my 10 local 440 repeaters into the stock memory module.
For anyone looking for the optional modules for 50 and 200 channels, you can purchase them for around $30 each at the link below:
http://www.randl.com/cgi-local/cart/cart.cgi
Just keep scrolling, you'll find the extended memory modules there!
Now, I'm looking for a DJ-180. I know that one will come along soon.
Kudos to Alinco; they made three [4 if you include the DJ-580 dual bander] great h/t's when they made these! I really enjoy the two that I've got.

Great, if you can find it

These radios are great if you can find them. Read all the DJ-180T reviews and apply it to this radio.
As I said this is radio is -rare- few were sold, even fewer surface in hamfests and online auctions. If you see one, and buy it, you won't be disapointed. The DJ-480T is well worth it.
