Versatile  Time owned: more than 12 months
Bought from a ham radio chain store in southern CA in 1996. I have just replaced the 12V 7AH sealed lead acid battery for the first time. The old SLA struggled after several years to charge above 11.5-12.0V maximum, which was more than sufficient for my K2. However, for most other radios, a little more voltage helps. Pity these units don't seem to be that readily available anymore. The SLA is easy and cheap to replace as it is a standard size/capacity item. Great for /P.
