It's An Added Benefit To Membership...  Time owned: more than 12 months
The magazine is professionally executed, and quite readable, IMHO. But the important thing is that recipients of TCA are, at the same time, supporting the ONLY national voice of Amateur radio in Canada. That ALONE is worth the proverbial "price of admission", IMHO...

Every Canadian amateur should be a member of RAC!RAC is our main support domestically and internationally, so JOIN UP CANADIANS! You get TCA automatically as a member and you also get to use the RAC email proxy (ve7ig@rac.ca, for example) and the outgoing QSL service. TCA keeps you informed about Amateur Radio in Canada and also has plenty of interesting articles by and for Canadians.

Good Canadian Product  Time owned: more than 12 months
Not really interested in advertising, but find the articles of interest. Like any magazine, interesting articles will vary with your interests. At least it is Canadian! And written by and for Canadians! Can't beat the cost. What other magazine for hams is published for Canadians?

Dropped it after one year  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
Won a one year subscription at the Smith Fall's flea market. Never renewed it. Same advertisements every month, never really found the articles interesting. I renewed my subscription with QST.

Good publication!  Time owned: more than 12 months
TCA is a good publication geared obviously to the members of the Radio Amateurs of Canada, the national Canadian amateur radio organization. For a purely volunteer crew, TCA is full of informative and useful information. While the # of members of RAC is a fraction of the RSGB or ARRL, thus the resources that can be put to it are also quite small, the people putting it out do a good job. I am biased as I am a Life Member of RAC but I am also a Life'r with QCWA and QST and RAC basically keeps up with them in spite of the difference in membership numbers. Several columns are world class, my favourite being the awards column put out by Garry Hammond VE3XN. If you are a VA/VE, membership in RAC is a must, even if only for the magazine. If you are DX and want an interesting addition to your almost monthly reading, then TCA is for you.
