Reviews Summary for Building a Super Station by K1TTT
Building a Super Station by K1TTT Reviews: 2 Average rating: 5.0/5 MSRP: $51.53
Description: History of the construction of a Ham Radio super contest station. 21+ years of construction, reconstruction, and maintenance at K1TTT with tips for both big and small contest stations.
Indeed his construction starts totally from scratch.
You are quickly fascinated by his day-by-day experiences while building his station. From his first small tower +tribander to the XXL sized stuctures. Many bears on the road to be conquered provide you first hand experiences in real life as-is situations.
His book is full of many large colorfull pictures, which visually show you the process of developping from average Joe-ham to a major M/M contest station. The large crowd of builder volonteers and many operators are proof that the fun-factor is his #1 priority.
K1TTT is very much willing to share data and experiences, take also look at his website:
www.k1ttt.net/technote/techref.html
This provides zillions of technical/mechanical reference data.
All in all this a great book !

Great Read!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
What a fantastic read. Very Inspirational. $5 for the downloaded PDF version, an absolute bargain.

An easy read. Some very good information contained within. Something for everyone from new ham to seasoned DXer or contester.

Highly recommended.
