How not to

I had great expectations for this antenna that were not to be realised.
The chrome had made some threaded holes difficult to use, and the collar for the mast mount is a fine example of "how not to" engineer a product. The lower radials foul on the collar preventing it from being fully screwed up to the top, there is pretty much no room to get the plug screwed up (if you can get one to even start as the threads for the plug may not be fully formed as was my case)
The price is proably the only good thing going for it. I would give a reception report but seeing as it is impossible to connect a cable It is difficult. and by the time you pay for postage back to the supplier it proves more costly than spending on a better brand. lesson learnt i suppose.
