Great Company
|
Time owned: 3 to 6 months
|
Recently bought a quad set of Taylor 811.'s for my AL811H all arrived quick and in good shape.
Tubes are working as expected no problems. I would buy again from R F PARTS without hesitation. Thanks Merit & Joe for your personal attention.

Good product for the most part

Time owned: 6 to 12 months

I had one of the OEM Ameritron (unbranded) 811A's go gaseous in my AL-811 when new. Replaced with the RF Parts tubes. They work fine, although, one tube has a tiny hole in the plate where the plate material was apparently stamped to a 90 deg. bend. Tube has worked fine, but you can see a pin hole of light from the filaments. I have made several purchases from RF Parts and feel they do a good job. Certainly would buy from them again....including these tubes. The RF Parts 811A's are probably the best tube now available.

I ordered several sets over the last few months too stock pile. I have not had a problem with them, and they all come intact. I'm currently Running them in my amp now no issues at all. The tube is same build quality Ameritron sells through their parts department.

Work like they should

I changed out the original Svetlanta that came with the amp. After 4 years they started to get soft.3 new Taylors in there now matched set.Good service and arrived on time. It's hard to kill an 811A.500 to 600 watts out and works all the time.Great tubes.

I bought a matched set of 811's for my AL-811H, and I can't kill them! I've occasionally run them beyond the recommended specs. They take a lickin' and keep on tickin !! Also use a set of 3 of their 572B's in my AL-811. Same results!

defective tubes
|
Time owned: 0 to 3 months
|
Recenly Ipurchased a matched of jan 811tubes from RF parts of california. When i installed them in my 811 ameritron they would't light up and when i took them out the caps had broken away from the tops of the tubes and i had to dig the tube caps out of the paracitic caps of the amp.
RF parts sent me a matched pair of taylor 811s to replace admitting there is a problem with the glue on the tube caps being old and brittle. When i installed the taylor tubes the amp poped and whent dead. Two of the tube'sfiliments burned and tube bobies had holes through them. thing it was the amp,I took it to a tech and he reported that the tubes had been void of vaccumn. rf parts would not take back the parts saying i tuned the amp wrong
They are having trouble with there 811 tube and do not want to stand by there warranty. Watch out buying any rf tubes.
