Description: This NEW Hi-Q product is a derivitive of the Hi-Q-5/2/30 OE-1538 HF Submarine antenna.
The HAM version is even more effective than the one for the Submarine use.It has a std. 3/8-24 attachment for a long whip or even a longwire for greater RE.
This is the FAMOUS antenna the was used on 3793 kc. to have several QSO's with Bill, ZS6CCY in Sout Africa from So. California.Mounted on the MBZ SUV and on the antenna test stand.
Considering the fact that it is ONLY 54" tall and 5" diameter! More specs. available on request.

(NOTE: THIS WAS ORIGINALLY REVIEWED UNDER
HI-Q-5, BEFORE THE /EX WAS ANNOUNCED)
Have been using a pre-production HI-5/EX. This item joins my rather short list of amateur radio products that set the Gold Standard for their category. Like the rest of the HI-Q line, workmanship and performance is top-notch. This is a serious antenna for serious mobileers.
