Repair

Smoked my HP spectrum analyzer.....Called Jim..No worries. He fixed the thing and put all the smoke back into it in a jiffy. Great service and great workmanship. Jim is a pro. He can get to the nitty gritty of what is wrong and get you back on the air. He has worked on several things for me.... I would use his service before ANY factory service....

IC-820H Base 2m/440

Weston Electronics is where I will have all my Ham Radio Equipment repaired. Jim took the time to find a very difficult problem in my Icon 820H Base and fix it at a most reasonable price. The radio is now back to 100% operation.

TS830S Repair

I have a beautiful TS830S that developed a difficult to find intermittent problem. It would shut down after being on for a while. Jim discovered that a resistor in the low voltage supply had a slight crack and would fail under load but not immediately. This was a subtle hard to find problem. He replaced the resistor and associated parts that could have contributed to the failure and completely checked out the rig. It works like new. I highly recommend his service....Jeff...W0XV

Honest and consciencious

Who works on Standard radios? Well, now I know of at least one...Jim Weston at Weston Electronics. I sent my cherished Standard C5718DA to him and within a couple of days, he had it back enroute to my shack. He kept me informed, thoughout the entire process, and was honest and consciencious. Radio repairs are rarely cheap, but Jim can be trusted not to take advantage of fellow hams. I would recommend him highly.

ADI 247 repair

Again...I have sent work to Jim :-) And I will do it again. Had an 220 adi that had a bad transistor. Jim had problems with the supplier in getting the part. Jim stayed on top of THEM to get the part and kept me updated. Jim kept me posted on the progress of the part's arrival. When the part arrived...QUICK TURN AROUND! Very straight forward with telling you if it can be repaired or not. Does EXCELLENT work. I have sent several items to him...and will be doing business again...if more things get broken ;-)

Jim Weston performed a repair on my Kenwood 930 very quickly and in my opinion at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend Weston Electronics for all your repair work whether on state of the art equipment or older tube-type boatanchors.

Jim Weston was more than willing to take on the repair of my c228a 2m-220mhz handheld radio. he was very promt with all comunication and I thought he was fair with the pricing! I had spent quite a bit of time looking for someone just willing to look at it. I would like to take this time to personally thank him for bringing my rare radio back to live!

QUICK SERVICE

My Icom IC-2800 Dual Band FM Transceiver was transmitting off frequency. It also had a receive problem on the 2 meter side. I was surprised how fast it was fixed. It now works great. Thank you, Jim!!!
Last year I bought a used radio another repair place. The owner did not want to pay the repair bill. When I got yhe radio home, there was a problem with a button not making contact because they put it together wrong. After I brought it back they took a month to fix.
Weston Electronic has my business from now on!!!

YAESU FT-101

WESTON ELECTRONICS TOOK MY YAESU FT-101 AND PUT LIFE BACK INTO IT. THIS RADIO HAD MANY PROBLEMS. WOULD NOT TRANSMIT AND OFF FREQUENCY AND MUCH MORE. THIS RADIO IS NOW LIKE A NEW ONE. TRANSMITS ON FREQUENCY. THESE GUYS AT WESTON ELECTRONICS ARE OUTSTANDING! RATES ARE VERY GOOD.
IF YOU NEED A RADIO REPAIRED THEN SEND IT TO THE THEM. I AM VERY GLAD I DID. THIS RADIO NOW WORKS LIKE IT DID WHEN IT WAS NEW BACK IN THE 70'S. HATS OFF TO "WESTON ELECTRONICS" FOR A JOB WELL DONE.
