Nice little key!  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
The key comes in kit form, but is easy to put together. I would recommend some polishing of the aluminum base and brass. I would also recommend taking a fine file to the contact points to remove any possible burrs. I added a wooden knob to mine bu simply drilling a small hole with a Dremel tool. I picked a drawer puller/knob from a local hardware stained it and adding a clear laquer. Goes great with my KX-1!

WOW ! ! ! !  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
What a neat little key, smooth easy on the finger and a real treat to use. This is by far the nicest straight key for QRP operations I have ever used. How can you go wrong for $30:00 shipped to your door in the USA, and a reasonable charge for shipping to other countries.

Doug Hauff at American Morse Equipment is truly providing great products at reasonable prices to hams around the world.

Don't head up the mountain without one!

easy!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
This little key kit--it comes as a bag of parts that you have to screw together--is easy to assemble, easy to adjust and operate, and very easy on the eyes, too. At $30.00 postpaid, it's about half what any other minikey costs. Easy on the wallet. They ought to call it the easy key.
