Great Kit
Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I built one of these to go with my 8 element Cubex quad for 2M sideband.
I'm using it with an Icom IC-746. (and a home brewed bias "T" as the '746 can't throw 12V out the coax connector at the rear of the radio) The preamp gives a great boost in RX performance and the unit has made the difference between making the QSO or not...if you can't hear them ,you can't work them!
Fantastic customer support from Mark as well makes this preamp a winner.

I'm happy
Time owned: 3 to 6 months
Built to suit (with a few extra mods to work) on a Kenwood TS-2000X rig and it work fine without any problems. Very happy with it performance in RX mode. Value for money. Can't wait for the 70cm version to hit Mini-kits website.
