Great Spring!

I purchased the mark 5 at HRO for $30.
Initially I was going to see how well it would hold up my mast and hustler triband antennas.
It does fine with two but all three there is two much wind resistance. Goin down the road looks like a catapult gettin ready to be fired at somewhere down the road.
Great Spring! for other applications like 102" whip are ok.
but for my initial intentions maybe I need that Mark 6 spring.

Stuff of champions

The only reason the Mark 6 isn't a 5, is because it costs $225! The Mark 5 at about $90 will suffice for most smaller antennas.
Once upon a time, HyGain made the strongest mobile spring available. It hasn't been made in about 20 years. If you have to use one, this is YOUR spring!
