I recently replaced my ten tec 280 supply with the model 255 because it has an integrated speaker with it, saving me space on the bench. It appears to be as good as the 280, which is great, but with the included speaker, it makes a space saving accessory. It also has a phone jack on the front panel, so you don't lose this option since you plug the speaker into the phone jack. It sounds much better than the internal speaker, even better than the external one I was using.
