Venus NR 30  Time owned: more than 12 months
There seems to be some confusion on how many Vibroplex Venus's made! I have the last one
made Serial Nr 30 . Yes, so now we all know there there were 30 of these rare paddles made.
The Venus is a good paddle as others have written. I collect paddles and have many rarer
than the Vibroplex Venus!

Simple But Elegant  Time owned: more than 12 months
The Vibroplex Venus was a special order, hand made paddle that was produced in very limited numbers. I understand that less than 30 were made in total before Vibroplex discontinued them, due, according to a former Vibroplex employee, to their high cost and difficulties that were encountered with the manufacturing process.
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to acquire one (#0015) several years ago. It's a relatively light paddle (less than 2 1/2 pounds). The base is 3 1/2 inches across, and about 1 inch in height. Tension is magnetic and adjusted at the far end of the paddles (contact is pulled to the rear center magnet, not repelled as with many other similar paddles). The paddle requires a little patience to adjust, as threading is course. Once adjusted to one's liking, however, it stays adequately set.
The real value of this key would be its rarity to a Vibroplex collector. In my opinion, its simplicity in design makes it one of the most lovely of the Vibroplex paddles. It is unfortunate that more weren't produced.

Does a great job  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I collect Iambic keys and will not go through
all the ones i have but they are all top of the
line. It is in my opinion better then any of the other Iambic keys that Vibroplex
makes. There have been many reason why they quit
making them. But they only made 28 and mine is
number 28. The reason i am doing this review is
to let you know about the key not to rate it. If
someone else can do a review on it i am sure people would be interested.
