The units were installed carefully- sensor mounted east under the eave, with anemometer mounted 4' above roof line 40' from 2 trees on east and west. Wireless station in shack. Noted immediately wind speed and gusts were way off for predominantly sw winds. Re-set several times and checked batteries/connections. No changes. Contacted La Crosse - they requested pics. Sent. La Crosse came back that they thought the 2 trees were causing the problem and not their responsibility. Save your money. This anemometer unit is a dog, and the mfr doesn't stand behind their Chinese products. It was a gift, so I'll keep it until it dies. No barometer is a nuisance.
