Works surprisingly well

I've given this kit a 5 for what it is in comparison to its rival kit from Ramsey, the FR146. As opposed to the Ramsey unit, this receiver works quite well if carefully built. If you are looking to easily monitor a repeater, a cheap used HT will work better, but I got this kit for the fun of building it and learning something.
