Description: Switches the TX mode to RTTY at about 25 watts when the Icom Tune button is pushed so a screwdriver type antenna can be tuned manually. This allows you to use the built in SWR meter to work for tuning.

I have been using the IC-7000 Tune Control for 1-1/2 in my vehicle and a tarheel antenna and this product works great to aid in tuning the antenna and not have had any issues.

Another great product from Better RF. It solved the problem I had on the IC-7000 tuning the motorized antenna. Now I can use the built in SWR meter without mode changing and reducing rf power. I will be using this in the near future with the Better RF 7000 screwdriver control for automatic tuning on a new Hi-Q 5\160. I will review that product as soon as I get everything installed and working( my Christmas holiday project :)
