I'm using mine on a 706MKIIG and it work flawlessly. This device comes either as a kit or pre-assembled and it allows you to directly enter a frequency via the DTMF keypad on rigs that don't have that option. No more spinning the VFO around to get to where you want to! It also toggles between memory channels and VFO. One wire plugs between your radio and the QSY'er. Add a 9-volt battery and you're good to go.
