Great software  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have been using Just Learn Morse for several years. I still have it on my desktop computer. However, with today's very mobile society, I use a different program in my smart phone since I haven't found JLM as a downloadable app. Overall, it is a great Morse code learning program.

Excellent Morse software  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Great Morse Code software. Really like its ability to sound out the code by reading in a text file from disc.

The best by far.  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Wow! I can't believe this is a free software, compatible with Vista, never crashes, not a single bug, easy to use, friendly and neat interface, excellent sound and pitch control. It even rates your performance! Highly recomended and thanks to the author for bringing us such a remarkable product.

Great piece of Software  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
This software is on par with G4FON software. It is very easy to use. In some aspects, it is better. You can increase both the speed and WPM in 1 WPM increments.

The only thing it does not have that would be of value is a character counter showing how many characters have been sent, but this is a minor issue. This makes it easier to grade yourself.

This is a great piece of software for learning code by either the Koch Method or the Farnsworth Method.

Great for learning  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
At least the equal of the G4FON trainer. I like that you can type on the keyboard as you listen and it automatically grades you. I struggled with the code to pass Element 1 so I could get my Extra license. I want to get good enough to actually get on the air with CW. This program and a lot of practice should do the trick.

Great Morse Code trainer  Time owned: more than 12 months
This is a great piece of software for learning morse code. The Koch method is superior to other training methods I have tried. When I got my lisence I used some of the hard ways, like visual methods looking at dots and dashes and so on. Using the koch method to learn the code as sound patterns rather than visual patterns is great. I have aso used the G4FON software which is also a great program, but I prefer this one as it does have some more flexibility when it comes to sending speed. In addition you can also specify the minimum and maximum word length from 2 to 10 characters. It also have two different modes: Training and Practice. In training mode the last character selected have a higher weigth than the other characters. In practice mode all characters have the same weight. In addition you can also use different sources for text.

Character set: This is the standard for Koch method
Selected characters: Here you can type in a list of the characters you want to practice on
Text file: Here you can open text files and have the content sent as morse code.
Entered Text: This will pop up a window where you can enter text which are then sent as morse code
Words: Produces a mix of the most common words in english language
Abbrevations: Random abbreviations typical to real life Morse code.
Q-codes: Q codes used in real life Morse code.

I can recommend it for everyone who wants to learn morse code.
Set the speed to at least 12wpm. Any slower might cause you to start counting dots and dashes and thus slow you down. By doing this you will also avoid the dreadful 10 wpm learning plateu.
Read David Finleys great article
http://www.qsl.net/n1irz/finley.morse.html
Also read the book "The Art & Skill of Radio-Telegraphy" by N0HFF, William G. Pierpont, which is freely available on internet. Both are great sources on how to learn morse code. Ignore everything you have heard about how difficult it is to learn morse code. It's EASY. I have a friend with Cerebral Paresis who managed to learn morse code and get a lisence.
