This website allows end users to connect to radios in a variety of ways:
1) Flashbox with flash audio too. Fast and rich.
Comes in two versions, Modern and Classic.
Some end users may like to consider for extra connectivity stability :
2) Flashbox with embedded Windows Media Player
3) Java script interface with various combninations.
Of course there is a variety of ways users can communicate, chit-chat or even help / be helped. Global Chat, Local Chat, Support tickets, email. So there is a very comprehensive network of support and issues are dealt with promptly.
Recently the site has benefited from a DX radio node, from Japan (!) as well as fully functional DRM radio in the UK, and new radio receiving devices from Colorado US, Netherlands, England, Germany etc.
Lots of the site's radios will even receive the International Space Stations transmissions to Earth, which now can be tracked from the US to Japan and from Scandinavia to Australia !
You can find top shelf radios at the site, from AOR-7030 and Icom Icom IC-R-8500 or IC-R9000 to Perseus SDR or Kenwood TS-870 etc, with antennas ranging from full size 160m loops, to multielement Yagis, "eggbeaters", Unipoles, Wellbrooks and some surprises too!
Once more, you don't have to have any software downloaded to run the dozens of radio on the site. Your usual browser (I prefer FireFox ) will do all the job, so long as you have Flash installed. However, please read the terms of use, and remember that in the beginning till you learn the ropes there is a short trial period of use.
Listen to what's playing on local radio in far away exotic countries, IBOC, or DRM, CW or SSB, PSK or Olivia, Space communications, Maritime communications or meteor scatter from the comfort of your home armchair !

Had no problems with the software. There don't seem to be many radios online. Fewer that have anything to be heard beyond commercial broadcast or public service.

I downloaded this software after reading the review above. After installing it I got the same result as I've got from every remote receiver site I've tried the last five years:
Cannot connect. Whatever the solution it isn't worth the effort to figure out. I'd rather write an opinion about my experience.

This is a very interesting project and it allows anyone to access receivers all over the world. All you need is a computer, a sound card, an account (free) and the internet. I have dedicated a ICOM PCR-R1500 to this project. Others around the world have aldo dedicated receivers and it provides a very interesting experience. As a Ham, you can even listen to your own signals as there's approximately a 10 second delay.
Remote control software is browser based so there's nothing to install.
