works flawless

I have been using a 508-3 for over a year with no problems. I have a true GE MASTR II UHF repeater and it was a plug and play! I am looking forward to the 508 with the RB port. My last contact with Al, he stated it would be late 2008 when the new controller would be ready for sale. Thanks Al for a great product and great service!

A great direct plug in repeater controller for the Mastr II bas

This unit plugs directly into the mastr II base card shelf where the audio board normally fits.
It is easy to install, and easy to program via either a computer com port or DTMF commands via radio.
Fairly easy to set up, and help available from the manufacturers.
Available direct or on Ebay. Shipping is very reasonable as well. there is a second version also available that can be set up for up to 4 tones.
can be used with carrier squelch as well.
Has both decode and encode modes, latter requires a simple jumper added.
I would rate the unit a ten, but Eham only allows 0-5.
The maker is willing to help resolve any problems in a reasonable amount of time. Support I rate as excellent.
I have used a couple of other controllers in the past.
It can also be used with other units via a header on the board.
Super product for the price.
