Hard to live without!

After subscribing to Bernie's Daily DX for so many years, it's hard to imagine DX'ing without it! He has timely valuable information for the DX community before others. Being an avid 6 Meter operator, he always has the latest information concerning "The Magic Band." And as our community ages, his "Silent Key" paragraphs remind us of old friends and of past QSO's.
Keep up the GREAT work, Bernie!!!

Outstanding Product

As a charter subscriber (over 10 years), I have watched Bernie develop his idea of The Daily DX into what has become my favorite source of DX information as it often provides advance warning of activity (so I can mark my calendar) and of course the expected up-to-date information of who will be on tomorrow. The added value of periodic up to the minute e-mail messages advising one of current activity is very helpful. Wonderful editor and terrific publication.

Daily DX is the premier dx news source. Information is gathered from reliable sources around the world and presented in a professional manner by an active dxer and dxpeditioneer. Breaking news is often provided in special bulletins even on weekends!

A Great DX Bulletin Service

I have been a subscriber to the DailyDX since 2003. Bernie's reports are consistently excellent. They are timely, interesting, complete, and correct. During the E-skip season he also covers happenings on 6m, which is a plus. I can recommend the DailyDX without hesitation. 73, Ron.

The Daily DX gives an overview of DX activity, both current and planned. It also provides flashes when conditions change, plans are interrupted and when openings occur. I could not chase DX without the calendar feature that chronicles what countries are on the air and the dates. I subscribe to two newsletters, one a weekly and this one. This has far more data contained.

Good DX News
|
Time owned: months

Although the Daily DX provides a snapshot of DX action, the depth of the publication is lacking. If you want a spot of DX then log into your local DX Packet cluster.
As a pilot for a recent DX operation and an experience DX operator of many DX operations I find the Daily DX was lacking. When providing the editor with updates of the activity for a DX operation I am the pilot for, the response was, that the Daily DX only covers DX-peditions and lengthly DX operations (more than a month or more) was not of interest.
This lack of interest on the part of The Daily DX as to all aspects of DX is why I rate it as only "OK" and not higher.
Just because it is daily does not make it comprehensive.

Best dollar value in ham radio. More valuable than my Alpha. I've tried the rest. This is the best! Only a few minutes of reading per day keeps you abreast of the entire DX scene. Only complaint is the amount of space given to IOTA info as I have no interest in it.
