Bad Experience

I bought a $60 battery pack for my dual band HT. Three weeks out of warrantee the pack failed. BatteriesAmerica advertises "we make up this (particular) pack in our own shop, so we're never out of stock". I asked if they would give me an allowance on a new pack if I returned the failed pack. My thought was that they could simply pop the pack open and put in a new cell or two and it would be ready to resell. My answer: Nope, one minute out of warrantee means it's your problem.
This business is based on volume sales alone, and they care nothing about individual customers. Use caution when ordering from them. I'll never spend money there again.
