I do a lot of contesting and this just great. It is comfortable to wear and has excellent audio response. I am presently using it on a Kenwood TS-450S. It is an excellent value and I am well pleased with it. I might add that Alan offers exceptional Customer Service.

I purchased the Audio-Comm headset mic and I couldn't be more pleased. I paid $44 and got far more than I expected. I have received very positive feedback on my audio quality and others are amazed at the low cost of this headset. Ham radio can be an expensive hobby and it is refreshing to find that quality does not always have to cost an arm and a leg. I have Heil and Icom mics among others in my shack and they are great mics, as they should be since they cost about 4-5 times the price of the Audio-Comm. I feel I get audio quality equal to them with the Audio-Comm and my wallet is not empty.

DUAL-EARPHONE SPEAKER-MIC

I PURCHASED A DUAL "PRO HEADSET/MIC FROM AUDIO-COMM;"
(ALAN, WA2AC) ON E-BAY FOR $39.95. IT IS DEFINATELY ONE OF THE BEST VALUES FOR YOUR DOLLAR AVAILABLE!!
I have had consistantly excellent reports on my transmitted audio, from everyone. And no, it isnt a Heil, but if I told you that on the air, I am sure you wouldnt doubt me, plus it didnt cost me an arm and a leg either!! The earpads are large and comfortable, yet the unit is very light-weight. I have used it for several contests and it REALLY MADE A DIFFERENCE! You dont need 3-4 hands anymore, two will do. They control the back ground noise quite well(cant even hear the wife behind me anymore) (yep, worth the price right there, lol). all in all; an excellent value.
Alen ships fast and well packed. He also sells a manual on-off switch, but I made my own in 5 minutes(this plugs into the available jack on the headset). His headsets come in large and small; one ear or two, and all are well made. PLEASE DO YOUR SELF A BIG FAVOR....check out AUDIO-COMM on E-Bay, before plunking down your many dollars on an equally good but expensive set......you wont be sorry.
This is the fIrst time I have ever left a review on any product, and the first time I have ever written back to the seller telling him how happy I am with hIs product. I wouldnt do so unless I really believed and liked a product this well, AND I DO!

Great Sound/Price

I Picked these up to see how they would work on my Yaeseu FT-450.
All reports are great. The headset fills great and the audio sounds good. They feel so good that I forget they are there on my head, and I usually can't stand to wear a headset.
Not bad for 39.00. Yes its not a 200.00 item and they shouldn't be.
Only issue: No PTT line off of there so using VOX only.
For the price/performance this is a great item.
I am sure it my not match everybodys voice but it does mine.
Not sure on the durability but I don't see an issue

Good value for money

I bought this type of headset for use in my shack with an Icom IC-718.I find the will work with the Icom IC-720 and the Icom IC-271.
They are comfortable to wear with the padding provided the mic and associated boom are unobtrusive, they where comfortable for 90mins continuous wearing
The audio is excellent and being a little deaf have helped me hear signals that are down in strenght. They also allow some background noise in so I wasnt startled when the XYL entered the shack
The mic has been given good on air reports and I find that I have been able to wind back the Mic Gain on all my rigs that I have used the headset with.
The only thing that needs attention is the housing for the PTT no doubt that will happen
The delivery time from the US to Australia was fast to say the least.
All in all excellent value for money.
