| Reviews Summary for Lido LM-100 Remote vent mount |
|
Reviews: 2
|
Average rating: 5.0/5
|
MSRP: $14.95
|
Description: In some vehicles it is almost impossible to find a place to mount a radio, or remote control head. In many situations the vent is the perfect place. It is usually within arms reach for easy control of the rig.The vent mount has a 4 hole amps pattern that can be attached to Alinco, Icom, Kenwood and Yaesu remote head brackets. Please see photo of the YSK-8900 and the Yaesu FT-8900 in the photo.
Our vent mount can be swiveled 360 degress for optimal viewing, and can be tightend easily with the tightening ring.
Our vent mount can be installed or removed in seconds. It will fit most horizontal vent louvres. It does not work on the large circular vents like those found in Mustangs and PT Cruisers.

Nice mount

A nice mount that fills a specific need. Be sure to order from a ham dealer NOT Lido direct. Their shipping charges are outrageous. A $14.95 mount with an additional $19.95 for UPS Ground shipping. They have got to be kidding.

I had a real time figuring out how to mount the head in my Camry. After several false starts, I spotted this and ordered it on-line. The company decided not to ship to Canada, but promptly refunded the money. I ordered it through AES and while shipping costs were steep, it arrived quickly. It installed easily and my remote head is now above the level of the car radio - much safer than down by the stick shift. It also covers only one of the centre vents leaving plenty of air movement. I highly recommend this solution.
