Reprints many of the QST feature "Doctor is In" questions and answers published to 2001. Chapters are devoted to antennas, the station, mobile and portable, batteries and grounding. Useful references also included. Anticipates many questions for the new ham who has passed an exam but has little practical knowledge. While I passed the Extra exam during the Nixon administration, I also learned more than a thing or two from this book. Clearly written and organized. One of ARRL's better books.
