Couldn't Be Easier!  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have had VK Express for quite a while now, and have found it to be fantastic! All you need is the PSK Soundcard interface you have now or build one of the several you can find schematics for on the Internet, or run it with VOX(an SC interface is better) and your set. Straight forward setup and operation. This is the only amateur radio software I have found useful enough for me to spend my precious amateur radio budget on. I have used it on FD, VHF Sweeps and QSO Party's, and the ocasional hf contest as well, and it sure saves the old voice! It also would be pretty easy to adapt this as a CW contest keyer as well using USB.
Check it out if you are looking for that easy way to save your voice on FD or any contest or other occasion you might see a need. Hats off to you Stu, Great software!
God bless

Great software, great price  Time owned: more than 12 months
If you already have a digital soundcard to radio interface, this is the voice keyer for you. You can register it for $10 using paypal, and you are all set to go. Very easy to use, self explanatory, and works just great. Just store some audio files, start the program, and work the contest. Really saves your voice and sanity. You can have up to 6 different messages ready to go at the press of a mouse click.

Not quite as easy as having a built in rig voice keyer (need to get that module for my TS-B2000) but close. Much better than having to deal with another external box, and is a fraction of the cost.

Easy to use nice program!  Time owned: more than 12 months
I am an avid VHF contester and meteor scatter operator. VK Express worked well when I was logging with CT. I ran CT in a DOS window and switched back and forth to call CQ.

I am the designer of the West Mountain Radio RIGblaster and the original RIGblaster was born to use VK Express for my contesting.

The RIGblaster incorportates PTT interrupt to support VK Express. That sofware feature originated in VK Express. VK express allows calling CQ in a repeated loop that will automatically stop when your microphone PTT is pressed by sensing a signal from the RIGblaster via a serial port.

VK Express is also excellent for voice meteor scatter. It will automatically call CQ scatter with the appropriate meteor scatter sequence timing.

Excellent!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Wow! What a great voice saver! Simple, easy to configure software that makes your computer into a voice keyer! For only a $10 registration fee, the otherwise fully functional software program lets you use your PC hard drive to store up to 6 voice messages (although you can choose from as many as you care to load after you've saved them on your H/D). Then only a mouse click away, you can use it for contests, or, as a beacon or "CQ machine" for 6 meters to see if the band is open...I worked several stations in South Dakota today, simply because the opening was there and I wouldn't have realized it if I had not been using VKE! It supports EME operations as well, though I have yet to participate in that mode. I use a freeware audio program (although VKE provides access to your current sound card recording program) called "Audacity" to record the messages which allows me to tailor them (volume up/down and eliminate "pauses" by deleting them. You can get "Audacity" at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/. What a great combination of programs, and all for only $10! 73, Joe WL7M

Voice Keyer Express works GREAT!!!  Time owned: unknown months
I have used VKE for over a year now, and find it to be extremely flexible and effective. I use it every time I am on the air. It is a software program that has the unique features of being able to either send a variety of messages a single time, repeatedly with a set amount of time between repeats, or repeat times on a regular basis, with a choice of fixed amounts of time for the transmissions. If you are a VHFer, this is the ONLY VOICE KEYER you would ever need or want. It covers all schedule timing from meteor scatter to moonbounce. For 6m, I find it essential for automatically sending out a CQ once every minute or so, just to see if the band is open. AND, if you have an amplifier, or preamplifiers, or antenna relays to switch (and what SERIOUS operator doesn't?), VKE sends out a PTT closure signal before your message starts, to give time for everything to change over to XMIT before the actual message begins (so you never blow anything up)....AND, you can interrupt it at any time with your manual closure of a footswitch or mic button...AND, it works with the excellent TRX-Manager logging/rig control program to permit all this PLUS logging and rig control through a SINGLE SERIAL PORT!!! This is VERY useful for those of us with laptop computers (which only have one serial port!). More information is at: http://www.qsl.net/n7qjp/VKE/VKESupport1.htm I can't say enough great things about this program and how well it works!
