Description: Work/cfm U.S.S.R. stations NORTH of the Arctic Circle and/or in Antarctica using the 4K prefix. All Q's must be 2-WAY CW ONLY. A point system is used and 68 pts must be earned to qualify. A nice looking piece of wallpaper.
Certificates RAEM (honorable and base) are issued by both domestic and foreign electronics hobbyist.
In accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the SRF payment for each of them to foreign radio is 10 IRC.
Applications are sent to the address: 119311, Moscow, PO Box 88, Fedenko Vladimir Ivanovich.

Tough to earn but cool!

Time owned: more than 12 months
|

Ernst Krenkel, legendary Russian radio operator with the call RAEM was a Polar explorer, expedition communicator and made first Arctic-Antarctic radio contact. It took over a year from time of mailing confirmations and fee to receive this award but worth the wait.
