From a 15 year old guy...  Time owned: more than 12 months
I got this thing on Christmas 96'... Oh man how this thing looked... Looked like something from the military.. It just lit up the room with it's eliteness. 5 watts total output power, (modified) 400-479.995 Mhz Recieve and Transmit. CTCSS, Dual, Memory, Memory scan, Page, back lit display (not cheap at all)... Man I love this thing! Just the look of it will identify you as a bad m0f0. But then again... I could be wrong... but with a handheld hamradio like this... You would take the chance. I LOVE THIS THING!!!
