Updated review: 10Yrs ahead its time  Time owned: more than 12 months
I had assembled this kit in 2008. The SMT boards were built at factory so in practice it was very easy to assemble this kit. The only fine tuning needed was the variable cap close to the quartz of the DDS unit. I used a (GPS frequency controlled) repeater to tune the board exactly at 1296Mhz. The output is up 10dbm on 23cm and 3dbm on 13cm. Lower output levels can be selected. I am using it for 23 and 13cm downconverters for my Drake R8. The stability is perfect for SSB and the shape is fine at these frequencies.

This PLL/DDS (AD9951 and ADF4360) generator was 10 years ahead. It is interesting to find now on Ebay some cheaper boards based on ADF4350.

Nuova Elettronica defaulted some years ago, It is notable they were not specialized in ham radio and provided a very reasonable priced repair-shop as well. I believe this kit was among the best kits they had ever produced. My congratulations to the unknown designer.
