Respectable  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Also marketed as: Albrecht AE-540 and Radio Shack HTX-252.

Make no mistake this is a budget radio. It has good quality received and transmitted signals.
As I live in a remote rural area I don't know if or how this little rig will suffer from intermod. For a very small radio it has already impressed pulling weak signals out of the air and the internal speaker is again very good given it's size.

Plus side:
Price
Size (W)130mm(5.1") x (H)35mm(1.4") x (D)140mm(5.5")
Signal Quality.
Extended TX/RX from 136MHz thru 174MHz (output power drops towards edges)
CTCSS
DTMF microphone
User selectable offset frequencies.

Down Side:
only 10 Memories + 1 Call Channel
Slow scan rate.
Clunky user interface.
No direct frequency input.

If you're in the market for a simple VHF mobile then this is a reasonable choice.
