I wanted/needed to re-review this antenna since my last review in '09. I have used this antenna and tested against Larsen 270 the Austin 500c Larsen 5/8ths and COMET 2X4 and this antenna works very very well for me. Now, it still isn't broad banded as described by ANLI, BUT it does work very well for HAM use. So in summary it isn't broad banded as advertised but it does perform very well, and it's short which is what I need to park under my truck garage. I don't rate it as great because it isn't as broad banded as promised.* oh, and yes it is hard mounted in the roof (NMO type mount with an adapter)
