Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone looking for a wideband dual band VHF/UHF mobile antenna.
In short this antenna does not work as described. It is advertised as "pre-tuned" to cover 143-166 and 425- 475 this simply isn't the case. The best I got and after cutting about 3/8ths of and inch off was/is: 146.010 1.5:1 and 153.755 IS 1.8:1 ,any higher and you go to 2.1 and higher. Which is not good. On the UHF side I got 2.1 at 467.275, which was all I was concerned with.
