Perfect for HOA  Time owned: more than 12 months
Sad to say, I originally did not write a review for this antenna because S9 phased out the 20-6 meter version after purchasing the original manufacturer. IMHO that was a terrible decision because this antenna is an extremely capable antenna for emergency or HOA installations. I ran mine with 3 resonant 20 meter wire radials and the antenna itself mounted on a piece of PVC pipe. I fed it with a 1:1 balun and RG-8X. Any of my auto tuners would easily tune it for 20-6 and I literally worked all over the world using 25 watts or less - usually less. I could literally put it up in 5 minutes and be on the air and it could not even bee seen from the street with binoculars! I suppose you could find the components and build one, but this antenna was a real winner for those with antenna restrictions.

...Spot On !!!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
...I live in a CCR (don't we all !)neighborhood and to make matters worse I'm on a corner lot with my back yard facing the intersection (uuughhh!) I have to have an antenna that is quickly removable and quickly deployed...I liked the idea of the S9v JR...only 18 feet high, weighs NOTHING, has a flat green finish (non-reflective) and deploys by slipping over the ground mount mast hidden behind a bush...just hook the coax and ground wire and you are in business...and SO IT IS...I run 500w out through an MFJ 986 and everything is SPOT ON !!!
