I'd seen The Parent Shop at Mt. Beacon Hamfest for several years. I never got a chance to talk to him since I work on that hamfest. I ran into him at the BARA Hamfest last spring and got to talk with him. There are some canvas shirts that LL Bean sells that I really like. I asked if I provided the shirts, he would embroider my callsign and name on them. The answer was yes. So two weeks ago at the Mt. Beacon Hamfest I brought the shirts, gave them to him, and paid for the embroidery. I received the shirts today via FedEx. They are just what I wanted. The quality of the work was excellent. When I need more callsign apparel I will definitely look to the parent shop to provide it.
